Mellon Curatorial Summer Academy →

When: February 5th, 2018
Where: High Museum of Art, Atlanta

The Summer Academy is a one-week, paid introduction to the curatorial profession open to first, second, and third year undergraduate students. The week (May 13th – May 19th) includes projects and group activities for fifteen students interested in learning more about what curators do. A stipend and housing for the week are provided.Following the Summer Academy, eligible students are encouraged to apply for a paid two-year curatorial fellowship. All majors are encouraged to apply, and the application deadline is Monday, February 5, 2018.

Federal Jackets Fellowship & Strategic Energy Internship →

When: Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 12pm
Where: Washington, D.C.

In the Georgia Tech Federal Jackets Fellowship (formerly the Georgia Tech D.C. Internship Program), you will work full time with a member of Congress, a Congressional committee, or an executive branch office in or around Washington, D.C. for approximately 10 weeks during summer, and 16 weeks during spring or fall.
The opportunity includes a $5,000 stipend in the summer or a $7,500 stipend in the spring or fall to offset expenses (housing, transportation, and living expenses). This program is open to both undergraduate and graduate students of all majors. International students are eligible to apply for the Federal Jackets Fellowship; however, some federal offices only accept internship applications from citizens of the United States.

Just for starters, it would give you a coveted inside look at diplomacy in action, and the range of careers and responsibilities found in the Foreign Service and Civil Service.
