11th Annual Mock Interview Week

January 19th-22nd, 2016 from 9:00 AM - 3:15 PM

During Mock Interview Week company representatives volunteer their time to conduct practice interviews with our students to help them improve their interviewing skills. This is not only an invaluable development opportunity for our students, but also a great way to make connections with potential hires. The registration deadline is December 11, 2015.

Culverhouse Leadership Diversity Case Competition

Are you interested in learning more about graduate school? Do you enjoy working on an interactive team to solve challenges? The Culverhouse College of Commerce and the Manderson Graduate School of Business are hosting a case competition on January 28-30th, 2016 at the University of Alabama. The competition is open to a select number of undergraduate institutions, and it is a great opportunity to show off your talent for creating business solutions. Teams will enhance their academic experience by analyzing a business case and then presenting their recommendations to corporate executives who serve as a panel of judges. Students in all academic disciplines are encouraged to participate. The deadline to apply is December 11.

Habitat for Humanity Corporate Relations and Fundraising Internships

During the Corporate Relations internship, you will be a part of a historic launch of a new business development strategy not only for HFHI but also in the non-profit sector. Atlanta Film Festival Spring Associate Internships

The Atlanta Film Society (ATLFS) is a year-round, non-profit media arts organization that specializes in film screenings, educational support and film and media events. Interns assist with administrative duties, membership, and event planning and coordination. Please note that while an internship with ATLFS is a great way to get connected to the local film community, the ATLFS is not a film studio and cannot provide internships in film production. Presidential Internship Program: The American University in Cairo

The Presidential Internship Program at The American University in Cairo (AUC) provides recent university graduates the opportunity to spend an academic year working at the highest levels of an international university, learn Arabic, and experience life in Egypt. Participants intern full-time in one of eight university offices, working in a range of fields including University administration, sustainability, finance, student development, advancement, communications, and more. Interested in sports? Then apply for The Frank and Peggy Steele Internship Program for Youth Leadership Development at the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. This opportunity will provide you with meaningful, hands-on training in numerous professional careers including research, photo archives, technical services, curatorial, membership, education, archives and collections management, recorded media, development, special events, programs and events, multi-media, publications, and public relations. To be considered for this program, students must have completed at least their sophomore year of college. All Steele interns receive a bi-weekly stipend during the ten weeks of the program and access to affordable student housing. College credit is also available.

Southern Company Innovation Center (Graphic Design) Internship

Southern Company is looking for students with a background in graphic or web design to work as an Innovation Center intern. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with creating and refining promotional assets (Web sites, digital promotion, print promotion, and packaging) for products and services that come from the Energy Innovation Center. In addition, this role will require research into related products and technologies, working with corporate ideation program data (reviewing, researching, defining and compiling reports).

The American Chamber of Commerce in the People's Republic of China (AmCham China) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization whose membership comprises more than 3,800 individuals from over 1,000 companies operating across China. With offices in Beijing, Tianjin, Dalian, Shenyang and Wuhan, AmCham China has more than 60 working groups, and holds more than 300 events each year. AmCham China is looking for interns for Spring 2016 for several departments, including communications (digital PR and magazine), operations and events, and government affairs.
