Northwestern Master of Science in Law Program Info Session →

The Master of Science in Law program at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law is designed to arm STEM students and professionals with the tools they need to succeed in the innovation economy. The unique MSL curriculum centers at the intersection of law, business, and technology, with specific focus areas of intellectual property and patent design, business law and entrepreneurship, regulatory analysis and strategy, and skills development. Students can complete the full-time program in nine months, or the part-time program (via either the residential or online format) in two to four years.

Actuarial Development Internship Program →

11-week internship over the summer, our actuarial interns learn about our products while working in a variety of disciplines including financial reporting and planning, valuation, pricing and product development, and asset/liability management across lines of business including life insurance, annuities, group protection, and retirement services. We offer actuarial internship positions in six locations: Atlanta, Boston, Dover, Fort Wayne, Hartford, Greensboro, Omaha, Radnor. In addition, interns participate in a series with speakers from business leaders across the organization, as well as attend lunch and learn sessions focused on networking, execution, and agility in the workplace. Furthermore, the interns enjoy a variety of social events with other interns and Actuarial Development Program participants. We offer both competitive pay and housing support. FYI- Average salary of an Actuary is over 100,000.

Students interested in working on the development of national science and technology policy are recommended to apply for a policy internship. Ideal candidates have a passion for science and technology, strong research and writing skills, the ability to work while prioritizing several projects at once, a willingness to support outreach events and OSTP’s communications team (students interested in Communications or Public Affairs should inquire about opportunities to work primarily with OSTP’s communications team), and a desire for public service. State Senate Budget Office Aide
