At Georgia Tech, we have set campus deadlines to help you meet national and international fellowship deadlines on time and with the strongest applications possible.

June 15 - Submit Pre-Application Form, stating which award and which country or university, if appropriate; Link to Pre-Application Form

July 1 - Submit drafts of application essays through the Prestigious Fellowships Canvas Interface

August 1 - Submit a complete application for review by the Fellowship Advisor

Late August - Early September - Campus Committee Interviews

Interns are needed for graphic design, front end web design, and social media for 3-6 credits in LMC 4904 (LMC Electives) *this could be 1 committed person who wants to expand all skillsets OR 2 interns.

Paid Research Assistant Position on International-Security Related Projects. →

When: Applications will be considered immediately and on a rolling basis in the hopes of having the work begin as early as possible in May 2020
Where: Georgia Tech

Drs. Adam Stulberg and Rachel Whitlark seek an undergraduate research assistant to work up to 20 hours a week on multiple international security-related projects. With Dr. Whitlark, the research assistant will conduct qualitative research related to her book on preventive war as a counter-proliferation strategy. With Dr. Stulberg, research will explore Chinese and Russian developments regarding emerging technologies including hypersonic weapons.

Pay rate: $15/hour up to 20 hours a week.

External Relations Internship, International Peace Institute →

When: Apply by May 3rd. Start date mid-June.
Where: New York, NY

IPI is currently seeking applicants for an External Relations Intern, for a full-time, three-month paid summer internship (with the possibility of renewal), who will gain knowledge and skills from on-the-job experience, with the External Relations Team providing guidance and feedback to facilitate the learning process.

This position is under the overall supervision of the Senior Director of External Relations. The External Relations Intern will work with the Senior Director of External Relations and the Development Officer to ensure optimum coordination between the resource development team and the fundraising activities of the Senior Director with all IPI staff members.

The White House Internship Program is a public service leadership program that provides a unique opportunity to gain valuable professional experience and build leadership skills. This hands-on program is designed to mentor and cultivate today’s young leaders, strengthen their understanding of the Executive Office, and prepare them for future public service opportunities. While interns’ responsibilities and tasks vary by department, all interns are united through weekly events, including a speaker series and professional development opportunities. Most importantly, the internship experience emphasizes community, and interns participate in service projects at non-profit organizations in Washington, D.C.

UX/UI Web Design- Graduate Research Assistant - ELSYS →

The Quality Assurance (QA) Group in the Electronic Systems Laboratory (ELSYS) seeks a Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) for Fall 2020 to help with user experience design. The GRA will work under the guidance of GTRI researchers to update the interface and design of a number of internal sites related to quality management. The GRA will also be working with researchers from various disciplines within the lab.

Twitter is looking for a design manager to lead the design team responsible for the Customer Journeys job at Twitter, as part of the Stay Informed design team. We see staying informed is the primary reason people come to Twitter, and being informed is the first step in participating in the public conversation.

A key step in helping people Stay Informed involves onboarding people to Twitter in the first place, inviting back customers who have been away for a while, and alerting people when interesting things are happening on the platform.
