Bridge To Tech Tutoring Program →

Do you have a passion for tutoring? Would you like to make an impact on the life of a young person? If you said yes, then Georgia Techs CEISMC and Drew Partnership is the perfect program for you!

The program goal is to improve performance and interest in STEM by providing tutors to Drew Charter School in Atlanta. Tutors work flexible schedules and they are assigned to particular classes and students to assist them with their studies in a classroom setting or in small groups. Tutors work with students throughout the academic year in order to forge a strong "learning partnership." College students from all Metro Atlanta area colleges are encouraged to apply.

Campaign Internship for Peter Aman

Peter Aman is looking for full or part-time interns to work this fall! The program is an excellent opportunity to get first-hand experience on a major citywide campaign for the Atlanta mayoral election in November. Sustainable Undergraduate Research Fellows
(SURF) →

As fellows, students will learn about the Living Building itself, fundamentals of systems thinking as it applies to the Georgia Tech Living Building, and how to apply these principles by collaborating with professionals on and off campus to create a real interactive dashboard. Beginning in the Fall of 2018 the pilot project will transition into a new Vertically Integrated Project (VIP) in which fellows can choose to continue to develop the living monitoring system while contributing a lasting legacy to Georgia Tech.

In an effort to address the shortage of certified classroom teachers and in accordance with the provisions of HB 1187, Clayton County Public Schools has submitted and received approval from the Georgia Professional Standards Commission to offer a comprehensive Teacher Academy of Preparation and Pedagogy. (TAPP). Targeting highly qualified college graduates who wish to begin a teaching career while earning clear, renewable Georgia certification, this program is practical, field-based, and designed to develop proficient teachers in a timely and economically feasible manner. The 2-year program consists of a minimum of 400 hours of instruction that will include over 100 hours of field-based, individualized instruction from trained mentors and content specialists.
