HSOC Social Justice Series: "Plastic Wars" Documentary Screening

Celebrate Earth Day with a screening of Plastic Wars, a PBS Frontline and NPR documentary investigating the expanding plastic industry and the global crisis of ocean pollution. The film will be followed by a Q&A hosted by Bill Winders, professor of sociology.
Part of the School of History and Sociology’s Social Justice Series, this event invites students, faculty, and staff to consider the environmental consequences of mass plastic production and the systemic challenges of waste reduction. Free pizza will be provided.
