Nunn School Hosts Model United Nations High School Conference

Posted October 15, 2015

While most students enjoyed fall break, the members of the Georgia Tech Model United Nations Program were busy hosting their annual GTMUN High School Conference.

Over 70 country delegations attended the event—consisting of nearly 1,000 students from schools located all around the Southeast and the Dominican Republic. From early Monday morning to Tuesday afternoon, these young delegates descended on the Scheller College of Business building to demonstrate their knowledge and expertise in debate of international issues.

Every committee had at least one topic related to nuclear issues, which illustrated the role of the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs at the intersection of science and technology.
